Homeward Bound

This is the Flagstaff train station located in the middle of town. It's a great old building. The shuttle to the Phoenix airport picks you up here. Unfortunately, no train ride for me.

This was taken in the waiting area at the Phoenix airport while chatting on the phone with one of my favorite photo bloggers: D.C. Confidential.

Great photo of the train tracks. Your view from the airport was quite lovely, too! Can't say my view, while I was talking to you, was as pretty. But the conversation compensated!

I had it all! Good view, good convo. You'd never have thought I was at an airport...

Well, yeah. It was all fine and dandy until that darn announcer called your flight! ;-)

Interesting colors inside the terminal. But I gotta' admit, I love that train track perspective.

It was great that I could just walk right out onto the track to get that shot. I had to jump back out of the way, however, when that train was coming. ;-)

How cool is that - chatting with a fellow blogger! I've got to try it. We love that train station - the trains are sooooo loud, the lobby/tourist office just fun to hang around in.

I thought for a mo' that UFO's really were landing...

Another cool candid shot! Sieze the moment I say!

tash: The trains are loud there. I grew up in Flagstaff and got used to hearing them, so I really didn't even notice them anymore!

lisa: I thought it looked like that too! I'm normally not much of a multi-tasker, but I will try just about anything for a photo op.
