Glowing Rocks


This is supposed to be sending light upwards onto a sculpture outside the dog park on Capitol Hill, but it's looking a bit blocked!

Excellent find. Those inground light fixtures are great at being unobtrusive; a clean look without poles sticking out of the ground. But you captured one of their peroblems, blocked light. The other is moisture inside the fixture, and heat. The lens gets extremely hot and could burn the animal's paws, thus the interesting lens guard.

Oh dear, I've done it and got all engineery here. Sorry about that.
